Hi,

I'm running spwakeup everyday on our SP2010 server farm.

Issue is that users deleted some sites months ago.. And spwakeup is still picking them up.

It's then generating about 30 errors in the e-mail we get from spwakeup every morning.. And it's always the same sites appearing.

"Failed waking site: http://....."
"Failed with error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found."

How do I force spwakeup to refresh it's list of sites that it wakes up?

PS: We tried emptying config cache with no success.

Thank you.

Hi,

Found my own problem.

errors 404 can be deleted by going into powershell and running:

stsadm -o deleteweb -url "http://webapplication/site404"

This removed the orphaned web site and it then no longer appeared in spwakeup's logs.
