3.0a is a quick bug fix for yesterday's release.
This is a ground-up rewrite and the first release that has been tested on Sharepoint 2010.
This version was written with an eye toward stream-lining the application. I've removed the external configuration files and reduced the number of run-time options. The information displayed while the tool is running has also been minimized to give a general overview instead of throwing text at the screen. The old-style display is still available by using the -verbose option.
As with previous versions, the recommended usage is to run the utility without any run-time options. This will find and wake-up every site on your server. This will work on most servers.
Available options are:
-Exclude: Excludes the listed Site Collection URL from being woken.
Can be used more than once. Example: spwakeup3.exe -Exclude:http://badsite.com -Exclude:http://badsite2.com
-Email: An email address that should be sent a log of the results.
-UserName: Name of the account that should be used to browse the sites. If no user name is set, sites are accessed under the current account. This option must be used in conjunction with the -Domain and -Password options.
-Domain: The domain of the account specified above.
-Password: The password that should be used to browse the sites.
-Authentication: The type of authentication used to browse the sites. Default value is NTLM.
-Verbose Shows the old-style verbose interface.
